Day 983 (Y2D253)

Dear mommy,

The sun came out and we took full advantage of the day.  Daddy let us skip breakfast so we could hurry up to the grey slide park.  Gugu and mema came as well and we were so excited to say "bye bye" to cabin fever.  We ran into gugu's friend who has a son, milan, who is close to our age, right in our own neighborhood!  Amazing!  Gugu is very popular.

Following the great time at the grey slide park, seesawing,  we went to the slider bar on university ave.  We were in absolute heaven and we discovered that twinks likes pickles and raw red onions.  Clearly dinks loved her orange juice.  The ice cream cookies that followed weren't bad either.  When we got home we were excited to receive a lovely gift from Aunt Ellen and Uncle Michel - of course we fought over the bunny book they got us.

We had a good nap and woke up to see Aunt Loni and Buo Buo.  We played a bunch in our backyard in the afternoon, including a little football and running.  At dinner we discovered that dinks really likes brussel sprouts.  The first bite was strange for sure, but then the mowing proceeded.  Daddy gave us an pretty bubble bath and he and gugu put us to bed, singing  nursery rhymes, and reading books.  We're sad to see gugu go, but we know she has to return to Boston to educate the future of America.

Daddy found this video you made 2 years ago.  Even in your darkest days, you shone bright.

We love you and miss you mommy.  Auntie Jessie sent over pictures of her and mommy when you were little.  So many pictures of you look like us.  We truly are mommy's daughters.

Here is our day:
