Punxsutawney Phil predicts six more weeks of winter on this SuperBowl Sunday.




Auntie Drew and Mema hung out with us all morning while Daddy and Uncle Ban ran half marathons. We played with play-doh and facetimed with Mom to show her our towers and animal creations. Mema is trying to up the stakes and offer us 10 purple M&Ms for potty training feats but we still prefer our diapers.

We had a SuperBowl party! V made some tasty ceviche. Daddy cooked turkey chili and Auntie Drew layered up some dip. Auntie Loni and Buo Buo brought wings and shortbread cookies. Yum!

Auntie Mina, Auntie Sonia and Uncle Dave joined Mommy for a SuperBowl party in her hospital room. They brought a football-shaped cake and gorgeous photos of Peru. Auntie Drew and Mema visited Mommy for the second half.

Saturday smoothed everything over.

Our social calendar was booked! When we awoke we were excited to see our Uncle Ban had arrived for his yearly SuperBowl visit. He played with us and read us books. V was our buddy most of Saturday and took us on fun adventures. We were also excited to still have Auntie Drew here for one last weekend. Buo Buo and Loni surprised us with a visit as well.

Mema, Mommy and Daddy all hung out at the hospital to speak with Dr. M and get his take on the biopsy results. We will biopsy again a week apart from the last biopsy and if there is any evidence of leukemic cells remaining, Mom will repeat induction chemotherapy. Mommy is building up stamina and intaking calories in anticipation of more chemotherapy. It's time to bust out Rudy, Rocky and the Karate Kid.

Mom's social calendar was booked too! Mom got a visit from our dear Auntie Mina and Auntie Sonia during the afternoon. Daddy and Uncle Ban stopped by for an evening visit.
