Day 1259 (Y3D165)

Dear mommy,

Today daddy showed us that we could slide our animals down the bannister of Nai Nai and Yeh Yeh's house, just like he used to do when he was little.  Daddy also took us to the neighborhood airport park, where we were in absolute heaven, even though we were a little suspect about the park when we first arrived.  We flew in planes, double planes and played in the sand.  There was a slide that we went side by side too!  We enjoyed the spitfire grill which was a local hole that was near RJMOB's old house when it was just RJB.

We had a wonderful day and are sad that our adventure in Santa Monica is coming to a close.

Day 1258 (Y3D164)

Dear mommy,

Happy New Year!  We hope everyone is having a prosperous and wonderful new year!  Daddy and Uncle Ban went for another race this morning, to approximately the same results!  Except daddy bailed out of the 10k and only ran 5.  Yeh Yeh has been staying with us so much, which we are surprised by because he usually ALWAYS goes to work.  But we enjoy the time he spends with us.  We went to the park where he pushed us on the tire swing and helped us go down the slide.  He even let us play with the model mercedes cars that the family got from their time in Germany.  The best part was when we were allowed to play with buo buo and daddy's old transformers, which we love!  We love cars and such... we're not such girly girls.

We had a wonderful day!  Here's to a better 2015.

Day 1257 (Y3D163)

Dear mommy,

Happy New Years Eve!  Today daddy and uncle ban ran a 10K in the morning and brought all sorts of medals back home for us.  It was apparently cold an windy so we snuggled in daddy's bed extra long.  Nai Nai and daddy took us on a trip to the mall, instead of our typical outdoor adventures.  We had a blast climbing, looking at all the stuffed animals and riding the escalators.  We came up with a crazy dance where we flail our limbs when we get off of the escalator.  Nai Nai treated us to Hot Dog on a Stick!

We had a wonderful rest of the day with our family, playing, napping and enjoying the last day of 2014.  2014 sure was really crazy and we're looking forward to a better 2015.  We all miss you so much mommy.  Daddy remembers spending all of his NYEs with you and celebrating with a kiss at midnight.  Not this year we guess.

We had a wonderful day today.  We built a lot of things with our magnetiles, toolset and gears.  We had a wonderful day hanging out with family.
