Aunt Jessie took care of this morning while GuGu, Uncle Ban and Daddy went to go to a TEAM KIM training event. Aunt Jessie always invents the best games for us (like she did for the kids she baby sat decades ago) like picnic. We decided to wear our 3 year old shirts even though we aren't quite there yet.
The super exciting event of the day was the trip with Aunt Jessie, Max, Gugu and Uncle Ban to downtown Fort Worth where we had some delicious mexican food, took a walk to the water gardens, got some frozen yogurt and ran through the fountains! Twinks was only moderately impressed but Dinks absolutely loved it - she navigated, she ran back, she hid and what? We ended the day with a nap and a family dinner of meatballs. Boy we're tired from all the fun we were having. Gugu read books with us and gave us a bath. She was very impressed because apparently Dinks can read the word "gluteus maximus." Huh? Maybe Uncle Mike taught that to her with his vast knowledge of anatomy!
We are very proud of Max and his potty training routine. He gives us kisses and hugs goodbye!
We can't believe we are getting close to 3! It is a lovely feeling to be older so that we can be more responsible, more accountable, more charitable and more patient.
