We had an action packed day! We woke up early and took a trip to the supermarket with daddy where we got some ingredients for our pies today. We wanted to eat the blueberries right there and then and weren't completely sure that you had to wait to eat the pie. We love riding the shopping cart with the car in front, but we're starting to get bold and stick our extremities out of the car.
Daddy walked with us to the park where we saw some old friends and swung and sang. We ate creepy carrots with hummus and grapes, while daddy treated us to a special life saver gummy from the supermarket. We returned home to eat our lunch while daddy interrogated us about love and absence. After lunch was the beginning of the pie making time where we mixed lots of ingredients and daddy let us pour in many of the ingredients.
After falling instantly asleep for our nap (we must've been tired from today's activities) we woke up to Aunt Loni and Buo Buo coming over. They helped us make our blueberry filling and entertain us while daddy was flattening the pie crust. Aunt Torrey and Uncle Noah came over too bringing their special chocolate pie ingredients. Daddy let us make our own small pies (though really he is a control freak and made it himself). We had some dinner that Auntie Sue made and then savored in our own delicious pies. We loved the vanilla ice cream that accompanied the hot blueberry pie and licked it off of the table. They turned out pretty well for some pie neophytes and we think we can improve on them in the future, but we know you would've loved the mommy.
We think we were really tired but the extra sugar made us hyper and cranky! A quick bath and it was off to sleep. We think daddy was tired too.

what a full day! i am very impressed that you helped your dad bake. next time you should fling the flour around like snow. your dad will like that.
