Today was a big day! We were greeted by Aunties Jessie and Lindsey today who arrived from Texas last night! Uncle Ban also arrived during the day though we didn't get to see him today. Our aunties took such good care of us, taking us to the park , (swinging and sliding) and showing us how to make tutus for our animals. We spent the rest of the day with Auntie Sue and then met up with M.
Daddy and the rest of our family went up to the city to begin a celebratory weekend for Team Kim with many of the other Team Kimmers who arrived into town. It was a night full of celebration for the inspiration that you provide them to join together, raise money and awareness for AML cures and honor your memory. They had a blast and got to hear from professional athletes, inspirational survivors and an amazing friend of daddy's Christine. They spoke of strength in despair, stoicism in long odds and honor for the survivors and those who have fallen. It was a moving night.
Afterwards they got to see a lot of friends they hadn't seen in a long time, including Gabe's close friends Gabe, and his wife, Sonja. We haven't seen them in ages and hope to soon!
