Happy November! Fall in the bay area tastes crisper each passing day. The rain, much needed, adds a bouquet of new scents to the air as the cold embraces the blossoms. We had a big day today. We started off by waking up late from what must have been a sugar hangover. Daddy got us ready quickly because we were off to celebrate our friend Tomas' fourth birthday. We jumped around in a bounce house, drank some chocolate milk (which T's parents introduced us to way back in the day) and had a blast. Gugu then joined for a little bit but unfortunately we had to leave. Dragon dad and Gugu took us to our first Yamaha music lesson. There we learned about drums, quarter notes, tom tom tom, our piano fingers, and Mary. Our teacher's name is Sue, isn't that crazy? Are all Chinese ladies named Sue??? Daddy and Gugu fondly reminisced about learning music when they were little. Daddy even took us to McDonald's, in an homage to his childhood, where we got some happy meals with these wonderful Hello Kitty toys. Of course we were more interested in the toys than the meal, but such is the life of the three year old.
After such an overactive morning we decide to chill with daddy, making dinner and enjoyed a wonderful evening. It sure was getting dark earlier though.
We love you and miss you mommy!
Here is our day:
