Happy Thursday mommy! We had a wonderful day especially with piggie and elephant.
Today while we were driving to school, Dinks had a really fun conversation with Ruth:
R: What girls?
D: Ruth are you nuts?
R: Whaat??? :) :) :)
D: I didn't say anything...
R: Are you sure, I think I heard something
D: Did you think I asked if you're nuts? Because I did nooooot. That was not me.
After reading at bedtime Dinks asked R who was in her tummy. She said no one was in her tummy because she doesn't have kids, but hopefully one day. Twinks said they were in mommy's tummy.
D: then who's tummy was mommy in?
R: (leading questions)
T: Oh but who's tummy was Mema in? Jessie?
R: (leading questions mother-grandmother-children relationships)
D: Then who was in daddy's tummy? --- thinking , thinking --- oh no, no no only mommies have kids, but we are still daddy's daughters
T: How about Nai Nai? Did she have a mommy and then she had daddy?
R: Yes and who else?
T&D: I know I know she gugu and buobuo
D: And Mema had mommy, Jessie, and Drew and Uncle Dave
T: Ruth, even if mommy is not here we still have a mommy, she's just not here, but we still love her so much. YOu know Ruth, when we have children they can sleep in our sleeping bags.
D: And we're going to sleep in daddy's bed because he's going to be too old and he's going to die.
T: No NO No, Dinks. Daddy is not going to die, he will just be old and he's going to be our children's grandpa.
What a night of discussions...
