Daddy fed us our yummy breakfast. Grandma E and Mommy spent time with us briefly before heading to Mommy's infusion appointments. M took such good care of us and continues to help Twinks perfect her good-bye wave. M took us on a picnic in the park. Twinks waved at a man on a bike in a gesture of good will. Dinks considered leaving the safe confines on the picnic blanket but decided to play it safe for today.
Now Dinks can also turn on a light switch! We played with our Dr. Seuss flash cards and said hi to our framed photos of Cousin M. Daddy gave us our baths and said we were especially sweet tonight. It must be all of that juicy organic fruit from Auntie Hsia that we have been eating!
Grandma kept Mommy company and comfortable during her infusions 3 and 4 today. She tried to receive phone calls from Grandpa K but the reception at the Cancer Center is not good. We can't wait to see Grandpa on our birthdays! Mom and Grandma E squeezed in a quick lunch, nap and walk between sessions.
So far, all is going great for Mom. She is a bit tired as expected but no other major side effects have occurred. Even though this Friday is the 13th, it will be a very fortuitous day for Mommy and our family, since she will compete her last two rounds of infusions! Mommy is trying to think how she wants to celebrate. Perhaps she will have an upside down clown ice cream sundae like she used to have at Hershey's Restaurant when she was little. Yum! We want one too.
