Happy birthday to buo buo today! He turns 40, which is like 14 in our years. We hope you are celebrating well buo buo!
Today was the start of football for Stanford! Go Stanford! And for our cousies' sake Go TCU and Go UT!
We had a great day today. We kicked off the morning by showing yeh yeh how little we generally like to eat, although we were very happy for the bacon that GuGu made. We went swimming in the hotel's pool with daddy and gugu! We still remember how to do fishy face and monkey arms, but we were less enthusiastic than when we were with Ms Olivia and Ms. Stancey. We discovered we really like lounging by the pool instead. We also pretend with our fake scream "eeeehhh, ehhhh!" whenever we "trade babies" with Gugu. We are so funny.
We went and visited the lake and got soaking wet in our normal clothes. The cold didn't seem to bother us and Twinks really wanted to go INTO the water. We don't think we really appreciate depth just yet. We were fascinated by the paddleboats and the geese and ducks around the lake. We enjoyed lying in the sand and finding pretty pebbles to collect. Afterwards we ate lunch at Applebee's where the combination of chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks just weren't quite what we're used to at the Oasis.
We skipped our nap and demonstrated a full on twin tantrum, followed by our enjoyable post-tantrum banter. Everyone seemed to have enough so we didn't go out to eat anymore. Instead GuGu and Nai Nai went and bought some stuff for us to eat at the local market. We discovered old school telephones and had a blast.
We love you and miss you mommy! You would've enjoyed the view of the water!
