We were very excited to wake up today! We woke daddy up (we think) when we said "Daddy is it awake time?" We started the day by asking for fruit and daddy obliged with some pineapple and cinnamon french toast. We were pretty excited that we started singing the planets song. After breakfast we went cruising in our shopping cart for our cupcake stuff! We got some fun circle sprinkles, some baking muffin cups, and some gummi bears for being so good! We tried to get daddy to buy us a pink and blue monkey but he held firm. Oh daddy, don't you know that the more you resist now, the more we'll get later???
After coming home we painted and drew while daddy made us a mushroom/salmon pesto pasta for lunch. At first dinks didn't like it at all, saying it was "too spicy!" in full tantrum mode. Twinks thought it was delicious (though she avoided the salmon at all costs). Dinks returned to the table, once some videos were put on the TV and proceeded to devour her entire lunch! Dinks even thoroughly enjoyed the salmon.
After our nap we woke up to see Auntie Shannon and Uncle Chris who were over to help us make cupcakes!!! Auntie shannon brought us glow bracelets and helped us wear them, while daddy and uncle chris discussed the chemistry of everyday things, the nerd buckets. They also brought us some very cool balloons with multicolor LEDs that cause the balloons to light up, so cool! They picked some carrots and kale from our garden (including a very creepy carrot, shown in the picture below with daddy!). We made muffins from the carrots and kale (or actually auntie shannon did, though we helped) and turned them into cupcakes with a cream cheese frosting! Auntie Shannon even made a blue and purple frosting for us while daddy decorated them with blue and purple sugar writing. Boy were we in heaven and we didn't even realized we were eating vegetable cupcakes! Of course with the sugar in us, we eventually threw an awesome tantrum that scared them away.
Daddy put us to bed and we were left thinking about the amazing day we had. We are digging this baking thing.
