We got ourselves to an early start today even though we were still tired from a full school day yesterday. Dinks woke up and asked daddy "if it were wake up time yet?" How could daddy resist? Auntie Sue came and helped get our lunch ready for an adventure since Lisa was coming over to help make the house look better (especially after we've been at it for a while!). Daddy read to us in the morning and got us all dressed and ready to go. It was great to see Lisa in the morning too!
We powered through our nap, and by powered through, we mean we didn't. Daddy baked a pie that we could take over to our new friend, Milan's, house. His parents invited us over. At first we were skeptical about going over there but once we saw the incredible toys he had, we were sold! They made us lasagna, salad and croutons our favorite! Daddy's peach pie was left to be desired as it was soupy. Well daddy, not bad for a second time, but you got some work to do. Put that chemical engineering acumen to work! Still we enjoyed it and utilized the sugar to do some good chasing and following! We really had a blast and were sad to go.
At home we did a little reading of our own and were off to dreamland before we knew it.
