Day 465 (Y1D99)

At breakfast we met Mr. Napkin Head. He talks like Daddy but his face is a napkin. Twinks started to cry a few minutes after meeting him but mostly we thought he was pretty funny.

Mom and Dad took us a long stroller adventure to the swings and the farmers' market. We sampled some tasty fruit and pastries there. After a long mid-day nap we went to a pumpkin carving picnic with M. We liked to eat the pumpkin tops, innards and seeds but everyone kept telling us not to do this. Luckily our appetite was satisfied with the provided cookies and fruit.

We met lots of au pairs and kids.
Dad made us a tasty quesadilla for dinner and all of the pumpkin grease was scrubbed off of us in our baths. We made it through the day with one nap but we were glad to turn in early for the night.
Mom is doing well. She has been back at work full time for a month already. She misses seeing us as often but is also glad to be back to a more 'normal' life.

Dad is the best. Among many things, he shops and cooks for the family, keeps us all smiling and sparks our intellectual curiosity with all of his interests. He makes us all so happy. We love you Dad.
