Today Daddy left for a road trip with Uncle Kroggy to the 100th Rose Bowl to watch Stanford take on Michigan State. Gugu and Mommy were with us all day. We played piano and sang ABCs after breakfast. Us girls went to the big slide park for most of the mid-morning. Gugu helped us swing on the tire and watch the bigger kids slide with cardboard sheets! Gugu and Mommy both love chai lattes and they treated themselves to one on the walk home. We got to go shopping at our favorite local market before returning home.
We really have started to master going tinkle in the potty. We won lots of jelly beans today. Soon we will run out of blue and purple beans, since we always demand those particular colors. Mom said we can try big girl panties tomorrow for the first time!
Auntie Baochi brought over her puppy Brucewayne to play with us before nap. We broke in our Christmas watering cans and watered the lawn as well as ourselves!
During our nap Mom made pizza dough from scratch. When we awoke, the margherita pizzas were ready for consumption. They were yummy! Mom and Gugu let us stay up later since it was a special night. We gladly turned in before the official New Year's.
Mom and Gugu ate chocolates and watched 'When Harry Met Sally'. Meg Ryan sported a variety of amazing 80s hairstyles and Billy Crystal was as clever as always. It was a perfect day for everyone:
