Day 1226 (Y3D132)

Dear mommy,

Today was a relaxing day and the last day that we will spend with our cousies as they all go back to their homes.  We will be heading back to California as well.  We got up pretty late and were having a grand old time and we quickly headed over to Max's house.  There we played with a plane, had a sensory experience of watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory while eating chocolate Santas,  built legos with Aunt Jessie and had a breakdown.  Daddy wound up taking us on a little car nap for about half an hour before Dinks woke up and we had to return to Aunt Jessie's house.  After we woke up Aunt Jessie treated us to a whole new experience with water balloons.  We treated them like they were our little babies until we realized you were supposed to break them open or stomp them.  We got really wet but thankfully it was quite warm here in TX.

We went to Fuzzy's for dinner and had a really good time coloring, playing with this chain thing and getting some ice cream bars.  Finally we said goodbye to Max and family and then it was back to Mema's to sleep.

We are exhausted and looking forward to getting back into our routine, but will miss all of our family so much.

We love you and miss you mommy!

Day 1225 (Y3D131)

Dear mommy,

We spent the morning hanging out at Mema's house, relaxing with the cousies, playing hide and seek.  We were basically getting ready for tonight's adventure on the North Pole Express in Grapevine!  But in the meantime we had to celebrate Kiley's birthday (eventhough it isn't for a few days).  We can't believe she's two already!  Post birthday cake though, there was a simultaneous melt down for all the kids.

We got dressed up in holiday PJs and left to go to the North Pole Express which consisted of riding a train that was completely outfitted with Santa stuff.  Elves, bells, carols and even a visit from Mrs. Claus!  We'll include our video document here (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7).  We had a blast dancing, eating, and playing games with Uncle Dave.  After the ride was done we walked through a winter wonderland (with manufactured snow, thank you Joule Thompson expansion!) to get to Santa's Workshop!  There was a nice performance and we got some sweet chocolate milk as we left.  The parents took us to frozen yogurt for our final treat and we were in heaven.

On the way home we gave Uncle Dave a taste of what 3 year olds are like and we all simultaneously needed to go to the potty!  Daddy carried each of us individually into an In n Out bathroom.  So fun!

Max slept over and we partied until we couldn't party any more!  What a night!

We love you and miss you mommy!
