Day 285

Today Daddy made us a cheesy omelette. Both of us loved it! We think Dad should cook for us all of the time. (The truth is, Mom put that last thought into our heads with her telekinetic skills.) Mercedes and Grandma steamed garlic cauliflower for us today. We think Dad, Mercedes and Grandma B should cook for us all of the time. (Mom has influenced our thoughts here again.)

We are so excited that our Mercedes has applied to extend her visa for another year because we never, never want to see her leave. We looooooove her and she is soooooo funny.

Mom went to treatment one and two today out of six for this week to kick off her second round of outpatient chemotherapy. All is going well except for some minor eye irritation which is a common side effect of one of her medicines. Mom & Grandma B went for a long walk on this breezy spring day. It was a great day.

Day 284

Today was a lovely Sunday. Twinks took extra long naps to recover from her road trip yesterday and showed Daddy that she can maneuver his watch off! Dinks worked on perfecting her clap. Dad, Mom and Grandma B took us for a long walk. Grandma B made us great meals including dishes such as mango oatmeal, turkey pasta and zucchini sauté! Yum!

Mom will start her second round of outpatient chemotherapy tomorrow. She will start wearing her funny mask again but we are used to it now!
