Day 925 (Y2D195) +107BMT

The Year of the Horse started with some tough news.

Mom's marrow showed 8% immature cells. Although this is a significant decrease from the 80%+ Mom started at, we wanted to find 0%. It is not definite whether these cells were cancer or a recovering marrow but it is most likely they are leukemic. Mom, Mema and Dad will discuss next steps with the doctors tomorrow on strategies to achieve remission.

Day 924 (Y2D194) +106BMT

This Thursday we say farewell to the Year of the Snake.

Daddy started off our day by reading to us at breakfast. We celebrated the ending of the serpent by visiting Mommy at the hospital. We impressed the entire atrium with our fruit stick dance. Twinks clapped when she first saw Mommy. Mommy was excited to see V too!

Mom kept saying we have gotten so much older since she last saw us almost 2 weeks ago. V packed us a super tasty lunch that included stir fry made by Auntie Drew. We impressed Mommy by showing her we knew how to spell our names!

Mom spent the afternoon chilling with Daddy and the evening with Mema. It helped the time pass pleasantly while we all await the biopsy results.
