We had a great Sunday. We woke up to M who was watching us overnight, while daddy and the rest of our family camped up in San Francisco. Today was the official Nike Women's Half Marathon and the culminating race of Team Kim 2014. From what we heard, it was an absolute blast! Everyone ran a great race and we are especially proud of Mema for taking on her first half marathon. Mommy, we know that you would be so proud of her, because that was what you wished for her - to take care of herself, get exercise and do something meaningful for herself. Looks like mission accomplished as she continues to be inspired and want to continue with TNT. There was even an article about the race where daddy and some of our friends were quoted.
We had a great day as well. We hung out with M, hitting the purple slide park, seeing the ducks by the library and having lunch with Nai Nai and Yeh Yeh who visited us after seeing daddy and his friends off at the start line. We had french fries, green beans and salmon which we loved.
Daddy, Aunt Jessie, Aunt Lindsey, Uncle Ban and Mema came back from the race just as we were leaving for the market! But we were excited to see them return from the weekend. At night we had a small dinner of pizza with a few friends including our buddy Milan, Uncle Kevin, our new Aunties Michelle and Sapna. We also got to see our friends Auntie Ryan and Uncle Josh and Milo. Twinks wondered where Uncle Josh was going but we did remember Auntie Ryan and Milo in addition to Josh, Beckett and Owen. Everybody seemed mellow and low key. We couldn't believe how much work Uncle tom and Auntie Deanne did for the weekend. Daddy says that the weekend couldn't have happened without them and many of our other friends. Team Kim is truly a team effort.
