Today, we spent the morning with daddy because daddy has a funny schedule this week. We spent the morning going to the pediatrician because daddy had to make sure that our vaccination records are up to date for Kindergarten enrollment (!!). We spent time at the local park and headed out to the Dutch Goose for lunch. Ruth picked us up and watched us until the evening. We had so much energy today and we were excited for daddy to put us to bed tonight. Twinks was working on a book where she was copying the words in one of her Piggie and Elephant Books. Her letters are really starting to look good! And we think she's turned the corner on reading too... she has been recognizing more words!

Uncle Foley had the idea of having Dinks right a children's book of her own. We could base it on a poem by Rilke and then she could write use the theme to write her own story. Daddy has been reading more Rilke accordingly.
