Today the doctors saw something that was potentially worrisome (many immature cells) in Mom's blood morphology. The doctors ran a quick test to see if it would reveal if the nature of cells were Leukemic or benign but the results were inconclusive. The plan now is to have a bone marrow biopsy early next week and to get a better look at the cells genetics. We will know more in the coming weeks. It may be nothing but it may be a very unfortunate early relapse that will require an aggressive treatment protocol. We are all hoping it is nothing.
