Day 1050 (Y2D320)

Dear mommy,

We had an exciting day today!  We had plans to go to our friend J-Rahr's birthday party.  He is turning 3 and we were excited to party with him.  We woke up and daddy got us out the door in our matching blue tops.  We made a beeline to the bookstore where daddy had neglected to buy books for the party.  We think it is very cool that J-B's gift request was to have a bunch of books to donate to the pediatric patients at LPCH (where we were born, by the way, as you know!). Daddy let us pick out the books; Dinks picked out "Runaway Bunny", Twinks picked out "Rocket's Might Words" and Daddy picked out "The Fault in Our Stars."  We also picked up a shapes puzzle that we wouldn't let daddy leave without getting for us.  We spent the stroller ride home reading J-B's book donations.

The party was heavenly.  We had cupcakes, cookies, so much milk, pancakes and fun games!  We had our first bounce house experience which we loved and wouldn't leave.  We are excited to visit more of these soon!  Happy Birthday J!  Some of the older kids took such good care of us and it was nice for daddy to catch up with some old and new friends.

After our nap we were greeted by Nai Nai and Yeh Yeh.  We spent some time playing together outside and went to the park.  We even repeated the simultaneous slide from the photo shoot!  It was a blast swinging and sliding and climbing with our grandparents.

We had a great dinner!  Daddy made auntie sarah's brats which were so delicious that even dinks ate it (she usually hates anything that is meat).  Daddy did have to tell her that it was "wurst".  We also ate some kale from our back yard.

We wish you were here to help us experience our new firsts.  We had a blast but it would've been infinitely better with you here.

We love you and miss you mommy.

Here is our day:
