We had another big day today. We started it off by scooting around the blue and red slide park today since it was foggy and wet everywhere. Daddy tried to keep us eating healthfully by giving us hummus and carrots for a snack. He made a jambalaya for lunch and then took us to the grey slide park, to get a little more fresh air, as well as willow market to pick up some supplies for dinner. We liked the jambalya and called it "shepherd's pie."
We fought our nap pretty hard, much to daddy's dismay. When we woke up though, daddy has a lasagna cooking for our dinner and recruited us to help make blueberry pie we requested. We measure the ingredients, stirred the blueberry filling and played with the extra dough daddy had prepared. It was a fun time. We didn't get to eat our pie, unfortunately, but daddy promised us that tomorrow, we could.
Buo Buo came over to pick up some stuff and it was great to see him. He must be jet lagged from his trip to Europe.
Daddy has been letting us read a little in our beds, by ourselves, which we seem to really enjoy.
