Daddy went to visit mommy most of the day and aunt Shannon came by to help grandma watch over us. They took us for a spin on the SC Trail. Then we had a chance to facetime with momma.
Mommy Update
A brief moment outside in the California sun was the first time Mommy has been outside at all in the past two weeks. Fortunately, Stanford Hospital was designed in such a way that makes being indoors quite pleasant. The courtyard gardens are out of this world and provide a verdant respite for the eye.
Thank you to the two people who gave our Mommy two units of blood. A care package from LBRE, three walks around the corridors, FaceTime with Twinks and Dinks and more tasty solid food tickled Mom's heart strings.
Mom is retaining some fluid in her abdominal area and we think she looks like she did when she was carrying us in the first trimester. The doctors and nurses are keeping an eye out and taking good care of her as she repairs from her chemotherapy.
Deep Thought: The 5-second rule does not apply in the hospital. Down is down.
