Day 356

Today Dad braved the early shift and bath time with us. He did great! M entertained us all day. Dinks is standing for almost 10 seconds these days on her own and Twinks can wave goodbye more consistently.

Grandma E sang to us and held us. She is careful to ensure she has a good grip on us as she carries us up and down the stairs. We trust her.

Auntie El from LBRE delivered some tasty Korean, Spanish and chicken and gnocchi dishes. Yum! We want a taste tomorrow when we wake up! Thank you Stanford! We appreciate your generosity and mad cooking skills.

Mom completed infusions 1 and 2 today. Grandma E was her buddy for both 4-hour appointments. Auntie Ray visited too and kept them company. There are four infusions more to go this week and hopefully this will be it forever in terms of chemotherapy.

All is going well thus far. Mom has a slight headache, some eye irritation and a funny taste in her throat. These are all normal side effects and luckily they are quite mild. Tomorrow she will rest at home in preparations for Wednesday's third and forth infusions.

Dinks: I climbed up here all by myself!

Twinks: Mom, is that really you when you were little? Haven't you always been an adult?'
