Day 369 (Y1D3)

Today Daddy and M took us to our one-year-old doctor's appointment. We are technically one year and three whole days, but who's counting? Here's our stats:

Dinks 29.5", 22lbs 3oz
Twinks 30.5", 24lbs 6oz

Dr. O says we looked great. Our heights have caught up to our weight percentages. We can start to drink whole milk that comes from cows (?) as long as it is not in a bottle. There sure are a lot of strange rules in this world. The doctor also said that it will be a milestone in our future to simultaneously walk and talk/babble. We are still working on standing for now but we'll get there. We sure know how to crawl and babble!

Uncle Dubluv and Auntie Lo joined us for bath and signing times. Daddy is picking up Grandma B from the airport as we sleep. We are excited to see her tomorrow when we awake.

Mom was so pleased to get two units of packed RBCs at the hospital. She wants to thank the two anonymous donors for giving her more strength and oxygen. During one transfusion, she even got a massage thanks to LBRE. Her counts are still hovering at bottom but perhaps tomorrow they will trend upwards. Go HEALTHY cell division!

Mom is silly. She is trying to come up with a friendly facial expression with a filter mask. The harder she tries to look friendlier the scarier she gets. We also think she may be going a little stir crazy at the hospital.
