Day 361

Today was lovely. We spent the whole day with Grandma E, Mom and Dad. We played ukelele and tried to eat Mom's flip flops again and again. Mom got serious about baby proofing and started shifting household items around since we have started to depart from the confines of the area rug towards cabinets and closets.

Grandma E taught us more Mandarin words and even watched us all by herself while Mom and Dad took a cat nap with our kittens. Grandma E pushed us for a 3-mile walk. Her stamina continues to impress us. She even took a second walk after we pooped out for the day. We think Nai Nai will sleep well tonight!

Auntie Ray Ray and Uncle Kroggy surprised us with a visit and brought Mom her 'blood count' derby pie. Yum! We hope Mom will share it with us but she said she 'needs' every sweet morsel to try to avoid going to the hospital this round. We think she may be pulling our little legs and using her illness as an excuse.

Daddy made us toasted humus sandwich bites for dinner and we devoured them! We ended our day with Baby Signing Times and baths. Dinks has started to literally drink her bath water by slurping it from the tub and Twinks can now wave goodbye and blow kisses with ease.

We are thinking good thoughts for Great Grandma R as she is in the hospital. We hope Great Grandpa L is not too lonely without her by his side.

Mom is feeling great. The extra time she had between this last round of chemotherapy and the current one seems to have given her super strength. We look forward to a lazy, family Sunday tomorrow.
