We had a fun day. We got going early this morning, much to daddy and mema's sadness. We parlayed this into a sweet round of scootering at the nearby willow oaks park where we have learned to steer and are getting better at self propulsion. The two things we haven't learned yet are: 1) listening to daddy when he says "look straight ahead", resulting in a twinks crash and 2) generally listening to daddy. We are growing up for sure!
We skipped our nap and instead went to the au pair event where there was ice cream and balloon animals! Too bad uncle josh didn't teach daddy a thing or two. Clearly it seems to be a skill in high demand! Daddy and mema walked all the way to the event, covering a solid 5 miles and we finally fell asleep on the way back.
We are definitely developing personalities and our own will. Daddy can't boss us around like he used to! But we love our daddy.
We have been very excited about all the people who are joining team kim, both as runners and as supporters. We think this could turn into something pretty amazing.
