The weekend adventure continues! First off we wanted to wish mema a happy 40th anniversary! 40 years ago mema got married to grandpa david and little auntie jessie would come not too much later! Also a happy birthday to cousin carissa!
We woke up a little later on account of the long time we had yesterday but we were excited to go to Magic Mountain (not the roller coaster but this amazing park with purple slides!) and meet up with Auntie Shan and Uncle Chris as well as Auntie Mandy and Uncle El and their two boys L and O. We had never been to such an amazing park before with multiple sets of swings, slides and rockers and it was very cool to meet the boys. They even shared their fruit snacks and nutella & PB sandwiches. Yum! Of course it was great to see Auntie Shannon again.
We went home to "take a nap." See the result below of what had to be done to get us to sleep.
Afterwards we went to Buo Buo and Auntie Loni's house for a memorial day bbq. We discovered we really liked buo buo's prawns and auntie loni's artichoke dip. Twinks even ate asparagus and Dinks loved the portabella mushrooms.
Even though we were tired we had a nice bath and read some nice books at bedtime. Even by ourselves! We just had an amazing weekend, full of friends and adventures. We know you would have loved to have been here mommy. We missed you very much today especially since we saw so many of your friends. We are glad that everyone thought of you today.
