Mommy's Monday fortune reassured her:
We sadly said farewell to Aunt Drew this morning. We missed her so much that we kept asking where she was after she left.
V got us all gussied up in our flower jackets and took us on an adventure to the park. We decided it was a good idea to not nap during nap time but then we fell asleep on the couch afterward. It is so much more fun to snuggle together and pass out on the couch like teenagers than in our room.
Mema, Dad, Auntie Sonia and Auntie kept Mommy company throughout the day at the hospital. Mom was so happy to get to see Mina and Sonia three days in a row while Mina was in town!
We are proud of both of our grandmothers today. Nai Nai aced her DMV test and Mema passed her biannual life saving course with flying colors. We look up to these smart, strong women!
Wednesday will be Mom's next biopsy. While she waits for the next treatment steps to be determined, Mom is trying to be as active as possible and occupy her time with projects. Today she reattached pom-poms to our hats that we had recently bit off during one of our non-nap naps. We are glad our mischief keeps Mom occupied and present-minded. What shall we break next?
