The deluge of four cousins continued at the Wang household. We all ate breakfast together. We played on our poofs. The visitor cousins were so well behaved but Twinks and Dinks were a bit of troublemakers in terms of sharing and wanting to nap. Max and Twinks enjoyed giving Dinks a bath. We were just so excited to have them here. We will miss them greatly tomorrow when they go home.
Mom had her third night of chemo tonight. The idarubicin last dose took place at 8:30 PM. The fludarabine and high dose cytarabine will continue for Day 4 and 5. Mom's stomach is starting to cramp already but let's hope it only gets slightly worse as she approaches the treatment nadir. Daddy brought Mommy in some tasty Chinese soup and chow mien. Yum.
Jess, Lin and Ben kept Mom company today. Kiley and Auntie Amy also visited briefly. Mom feels loved and full of mental strength. When Mom played ultimate frisbee with CTR, Uncle Rockberg used to pass out mental toughness M&Ms. You would eat just one before going on the field and it would bring you mental strength. Although M&Ms are not appealing to Mom right now, this idea is. It is time for mental toughness M&Ms.
