Daddy drove Cousies and Aunties in the early morning to the airport. Max told a hilarious story about Poo Poo Bubble. We were sad to see them go but it was time for the long weekend slumber party without much slumber to end from our caretakers point of view.
Daddy bravely jogged us in the drizzle to one of our favorite parks. There we giggled on the swings and took turns sliding in purple and blue. We got to dangle in our favorite fountain, eat our favorite pizza and enjoy our beloved cookie dessert. It was heaven.
Mom meanwhile starting to feel the chemo truck run over feeling in this Day 4. She just laid low, took naps with Mema and watched the amazing Olympics with Mom. The nurses kept her comfortable. There is one more day of chemo this regime! Hip, hip, and hooray! Auntie Gigi's handmade orange hat and Auntie Pont's homemade granola made her comfty and cozy throughout the day. Thank you!
Here's our day:
