Day 931 (Y2D201) +113BMT

Thursday called for decisive action.

Mom distracted herself by stringing cranes all morning. Around noon the bone marrow results were presented to her by Dr. M and it clearly revealed the presence of an increased number of leukemic blasts. Mom will repeat the 5-day course of induction chemotherapy starting tonight to try to achieve remission. Piggies of all sizes and shapes are all crossed.

We slept in until 8:30 AM! Dad was grateful. Our cousins Max and Kiley arrived before lunch. We were so excited to see them and spend the day with them. We played with V all day and Mema played with Max and Kiley. We tried to all take a bath together like that Shel Silverstein poem 'Crowded Tub':

There's too many kids in this tub.
There's too many elbows to scrub.
I just washed a behind that I'm sure wasn't mine.
There's too many kids in this tub.

As a result we split bath into two shifts. It is so fun for all four cousins to be together. We cannot wait for Bumpie to come into the world as our fifth!

Here's our day:
