Day 989 (Y2D259)

Dear mommy,

We were sad to see the RJ MOB go today.  They bravely set off in the afternoon to head back to their home where daddy is from.  We had a great time but boy are we tired.  We started the day off with a new routine with mema and daddy.  This is where we have stopped having indulgent, lazy mornings with milk, videos, fruit, etc.  Mema and daddy mean business now and they get us to sit in our chairs and have breakfast before we know what hit us.  We were dressed and ready to go when the RJ MOB arrived again with wonderful caffeine sources for daddy and mema.  Auntie Ry gave us some delicious croissant and oranges and we played with puzzles.  It was a gorgeous day so we went to go get sliders for lunch.  We asked about going to the grey slide park, but daddy said that we would just be walking to the lunch place.  The sliders were wonderful but really we liked the lettuce, tomatoes and pickles.  And while we enjoyed the ketchup, the french fries were somewhat to be desired.  The orange juice was amazing and dinks mowed it down without coming up for breath.  We started to get antsy and we discovered the joy that are iphone games for kids.  Daddy didn't look too happy, but he looked relieved.

After lunch we went and got our favorite ice cream cookies but daddy couldn't believe that we were willing to give these up in favor of going on the slide so many times at the grey slide park.  We took a minor break to hit the tire swing.  It turns out we really like the park!  It was 3:30 by the time we got home so we got to a late nap before the RJMOB headed out.

We got to bed late and though we were tired we were still a little riled up.  We know that you wouldn't break our schedule like daddy does mommy!

We continue to appreciate the love and support from everyone out there.  We hope we'll get around to saying "thank you" to each of you soon and, of course, preferably in person.

We love you mommy and miss you.
