Day 995 (Y2D265)

Dear mommy,

Happy Saturday!  We had a fabulous day waking up early to daddy's chagrin.  Mema had to rescue us from our room since daddy was taking his sweet time.  Daddy got us ready very quickly so that we were out of the door and on our way to the grey slide park by about 9:30 am.  Boy did daddy do an amazing job with our hair.  We must've had at least 4 different types of berrets, rubber bands and clips in our hair.

We had a tremendous day experimenting once twice and thrice with the grey slide park.  We took the time to smell the flowers and spend countless hours on the see saw.  We got a face full of sand twice.  We spent a lot of time at the grey slide park.  Daddy was worried the whole time about our potty situation since we weren't wearing any diapers.  But to daddy's amazement we stayed clean and dry the entire time.  He thought about taking us home for lunch but twinks convinced him to take us for "chicken sliders" which daddy thought meant the oasis for chicken fingers, so he ran us that way.  We got there a little too early (who doesn't open a beer garden until 11am???) so daddy let us juice some oranges.  After delicious lunch and our 10 minute attention spans, twinks told daddy that she had to go to the potty, whereupon he sprinted home after eating four of our chicken fingers.  We made it! which meant that we made if 3.5 hours without any accidents.  Hooray for us!

We had a wonderful nap and dinks pooped on the potty and we've been doing great at our potty training, even though we'll probably get cavities from all the candy we've been eating.  Finally it was dinner, bath and bedtime and we were exhausted from a long day.

We had such a great time but missed you mommy.  Uncle Justin sent us videos of yours and daddy's wedding vows and we thought they were pretty darned cool.

Well we love you and miss you mommy!
