Day 953 (Y2D223) +135 BMT

We had a great friday.  It was rainy but we love our hello kitty rain jackets.  California needs rain is what we keep hearing.  Need is such a strong word because it is really fun!

V made us macaroni and cheese.  Apparently she has never made this before.  Daddy said "now you are a real American mommy if you can make boxed mac n cheese.

At bed time were doggies, we brushed daddy's beard, we fell on daddy's leg, asked questions and stacked our rug.

Auntie E comes tomorrow for a little bit!  We're excited to see her.

We wanted to send our love to mommy.  We know she has been sleeping quite a bit and we thought it might be nice to have some sweet dreams.

Mommy hasn't been feeling the greatest.  She's been resting a lot during the day and people keep pricking and poking her.  All she wants is to get some rest and get out of the hospital.  Good news though, she has been able to start consumption of some high caloric density foods to try to get her energy up and running.  So far she seems to really like chocolate flavored ensure.

We love you mommy.  We hope you feel better soon.  We want you to come home and spend all our time with us.  We want you to watch us grow up so we can love you, learn from you, sass you, go on "lame" road trips with you and daddy, have you help us mend our heartbreak, decide what college to go to, what friends to make, what instruments to play, what sports to play and learn what is like to be the best mommy ever.  Most of all we don't want to be left alone to watch football with daddy.  We need our mommy.  Sweet dreams mommy.

From yesterday:

Here is our day:

This is our beloved mommy.

I'm not exactly sure about this.

Wow what's out there?

Kailan.  Rainy day.

Is it crumpet time?

I guess this is what all of our aunties in texas experience.  It's bone dry here in California!

Snacks are just as good in the rain!
Daddy says you have to protect the ball in rainy weather.
Come on in, the weather's great!
Although this is a bit better.

Day 952 (Y2D222) +134 BMT

We woke up to greet auntie J, who is in town from Max land.  Even though we just saw her several weeks ago we stuck to Mema like glue.  Daddy was staying with mommy so we didn't get to see him all day.

V and Mema took us to the Junior Museum where we spent time chasing green balls, stacking acrylic blocks of insects, climbed into a spider web and looked at bunnies, ocelots and other creatures.  It was a wonderful time that was followed up with a trip to the nearby park and to McD's.  The slides were really fun and Dinks had to protect the slides from another boy who tried to slide down Twink's side.  We had some cheeseburgers and fries at McD's which we barely ate but we loved out apple slices and chocolate milk.  It's difficult to please us.

We took a great nap and had a nice evening with V before Daddy came home to put us to sleep.  We have been excellent at listening to daddy's books.  We even read a book called "Rocket writes a story".  There are lots of words on trees that we like to try to find.

Mommy had a pretty good day her swelling has slowed down and she was able to walk three times.  She even mustered up the energy to get occupational therapy to come in and help her with some core exercises.  The evening was capped off with a shower that daddy helped her with.

Here is our day:

Daddy took this picture in the atrium of Stanford hospital.  He said it felt like a strange wedding that no one came to.  Daddy's weird.
