Auntie MH, Auntie Al and Cousin Ash brought us a tasty brunch from Hobees. We loved our first taste of french toast and sweet potato pancakes with syrup. Yum! Dad loves eating a big breakfast on the weekends and now we know why.
We had fun watching Ash play with our toys in different ways than we usually do. He can really drive the Radioflyer wagon like a NASCAR professional. He also gave us kisses which was sweet. We are sad he and his family will be moving away but we can't wait to visit them and go skiing!
Mom and Dad took us to the park and let us go sliding! We got to have pancakes for dinner and watch the Olympic women's marathon before bed. M played with us during bathtime and showed Mom and Dad some of our new tricks. Dinks knows the words cabesa, elephante and jirafa. Twinks points to herself when asked 'Where's Twinks?'.
Mom is doing well. She is resting and recovering. She will try and go for a short jog tomorrow as an experiment to see if she can handle more than walking in terms of exercise. She has a goal of running a 5K in about a month. We will run with you Mom if you push us in the stroller!
