Day 384 (Y1D18)

Today we were double trouble. Luckily we know how to flash sweet smiles and melt the hearts of others around us.

Dinks turned off one of the cats' automatic feeders. She has figured out how to eject the DVD from the player during Signing Times. Twinks is always curious as to what is going on in the room next door. She also likes to play with the kid-friendly chopsticks and pens that Mom has tried to store in out-of-reach places. Together we decapitated the doggie that used to shake his head in our favorite motion book.

We finished the last of our formula so it's all moo milk from now on. Whole moo is quite tasty. We approve of this change. Mom also retired our nap, food and bathroom charting book. She, Dad and M kept track of this for a year but have decided it's time to be more zen about it.

M took us to the downtown library for a reading session and to an outdoor concert where we ate our first meal outside! Twinks had so much fun that she fell asleep on the stroller ride home and took a very long afternoon nap in her crib afterward. M made us some tasty corkscrew pasta with red sauce for dinner. Yum! Dad made it home in time for bedtime!

Mom kept busy around the house childproofing and organizing. She is feeling better and stronger every day. Her hearing is improving as her middle ear clears. Her toe is slow to heal but her C diff symptoms have almost all disappeared!
