We like to pretend to give Mommy our hair so she can add it to her buzz. Dinks likes to wear Mommy's hats. We are obsessed with containers these days. We like to open and close them and carry things in them. Luckily Mommy loves containers too and saves a lot of them for us!
V took us to the library and the park today! Dinks loves to listen to books read aloud and sits mesmerized for a long time. Twinks wants to move around a bit more during these times. We are different but that will serve us well as a team of best friends in the future.
Mom dreamed up landscape schemes to tidy up the backyard of our rental home. She is going to get a big umbrella that will provide lots of shade and reorganize the vegetable garden. She will be spending a lot of time at home and she would like to make it look just a little lovelier than it already does.
Uncle Josh arrived in the afternoon. Twinks at first thought he was her new Daddy and that scared her but then she realized her mistake. Uncle Josh showed Twinks his impression of Beckett's have-to-go potty dance and that made Twinks giggle! After dinner we ate dessert in our stools and drank milk from our big girl cups! After Daddy gave us a bath, we ran around to get out our extra energy before bedtime.
M flew home today to see her Mommy. Daddy and Josh helped send her off. We were all very sad to see her go but we know that there is a very good chance she will come back to us in a couple of weeks when she starts college! We have our fingers crossed for her return!
