Day 794 (Y2D64)

Sunday satisfied our appetite.

We awoke to our final morning with Nai Nai. Daddy made us all pancakes from V's tasty batter to celebrate the occasion. We mostly eat pancakes with our syrup. Isn't that how everyone does it? Mema sent us lots of new books on gardening! Dinks really liked the box they were mailed in.

We got to see Auntie Mary briefly which was a treat. Auntie Mary is always helping out Nai Nai and our family. She is a good chef and a generous woman. After we sadly bid farewell to Nai Nai, that is until her next trip, we happily headed to the park. Mom came to the park with us! She hasn't seen us at the park in over a month and a half. That is sad for Mom because taking us to the park is one of her favorite things to do. Mommy pushed us on the swing and went on the big girl swing herself. We showed Mommy how well we can climb and tear apart leaves. She was very impressed.

Auntie T joined Mommy for a walk, loaned her some fun DVDs and lent her an indoor frisbee. Mom was happy to see her. Dad ran a 10 mile training run for Mom's Nike Half Marathon. Dad is taking his running for Mom and blood cancers very seriously. Dad, we are proud of you.

After our nap we dressed in winter clothes and played outside. We love drawing drawing with chalk and saying our grandparents' Chinese names!

Here's our day:
