Day 787 (Y2D57)

We made the most of every moment of our Sunday.

In the morning, we danced to our educational videos about the shapes. Did you know that the shapes each have a dance of their own? We like how circle break dances and rectangle only grooves with his arms! Before lunch we had fun drawing with crayons and played with Halloween, smiley face and fish stickers. Uncle Josh fixed the leak in our pool and filled it up for us again. We had a blast watering the lawn with our pink 'Twinks n' Dinks' cups.

In the afternoon, Uncle Josh cooked up a storm for Mom and Dad. He made baked/grilled pork ribs, homemade French apple pie, pork gravy and corn on the cob. Mom carefully watched Josh make the apple pie so she can replicate it in the near future! Again, we were asleep during this feast. We hope we get to sample some of it tomorrow!

The current plan for Mom is to wait another week and if at that time her counts are still not on the road to recovery, do a biopsy to see what is going on in her marrow. Mom has started to feel a lower back ache which may be nothing significant but also may be an sign of resurgent leukemia. Mom may request to do her biopsy sooner.

Auntie Shannon visited and chatted with Mom for a while. She made individually portioned meals that could be frozen for later. Auntie Beans sent a very adorable video of Kiley making cute sounds and chatted with Mom for a while over the phone. Things like this brighten Mom's day and make her smile.

Here's our day:
