We had a lovely day with V wearing our smocked dresses and making bird feeders. Mom spent the day with Auntie Ellen. Ellen accompanied Mom on a long walk under the old oak trees in our neighborhood and held Mom's hand during her biopsy. They laugh a lot together almost like we twins do.
The good news is that Mom's platelets and hemoglobin levels have started trending upward. Hopefully this recovery will continue. On Friday, Mom will get her blood drawn and find out the biopsy results.
