Day 756 (Y2D26) ChemoR1

Thursday is Mom's favorite day of the week. It all started back in elementary school because Thursday was library day and Mom loved being read to by the librarians in those carpeted amphitheaters. Today was a good day. Mom just laid low and did not need any transfusions as of yet. Dad spent much of the afternoon keeping Mom company.

We played with V all day, learned numbers and made paper hats. Dad gave us airplane rides and Mema helped clean up all of the pasta and watermelon that ended up all over us by dinner's end.

Next Tuesday, Mom will have her day 12 bone marrow biopsy to assess the success of this initial induction course. Until then, she will just hang out in her hospital dorm room away from germs. Here's Mom's day:
