In the morning we bid farewell to dear Uncle Dave. He must return to his orthopedic residency and apparently use human power tools to repair broken people. Is that legal? Dinks was shy with goodbye kisses but Twinks made up for it. We had a great week playing with Dave. He is very patient with us. He was very impressed with our reading skills and how much of the day we like to run around naked.
He generously left us his Drew for another week. We are glad she and her baby bump will stay longer and play with us. V made us laugh all day. During lunchtime she Facetimed Mommy for us. We impressed Mommy with our sprinkle (short pieces of spaghetti) toast towers that we devoured. We showed Mommy how we could even feed each other! We are such big, coordinated girls. We also ran around during bedtime.
Mema and Auntie Drew kept Mommy company in the morning and brought Mommy some tasty dumpling broth. They all looked at old photos that Mema had brought from her collection. Drew found some she really liked to bring some back home with her. Mema and Auntie Drew ran errands for the family and stocked up on tasty groceries for the week.
Daddy doid a training run in preparation for his SuperBowl Sunday Half and then joined the hospital party later bearing Ranch 99 gifts of lychee jello, fortune cookies with lofty promises and tasty agar jello. Mom was so excited especially when she read her fortune 'This month, the sky is the limit.'
Here's our day:
