She and Aunt Drew celebrated by just relaxing in bed most of the day. Poor Auntie Drew and Daddy both don't feel well. Mommy was kind of tired today too and she is theorizing that maybe her thyroid is giving up after getting blasted with radiation in October. Mom will request thyroid labs at her Monday appointment to confirm her theory. If it's not her thyroid, then it is just the tapering off of good ole' prednisone.
Mom's back aches a little too which makes Mom nervous since that was one of the ways her August relapse presented. Well, Mom just likely has the jitters because her biopsy is this Monday. Mom went on a fast-paced 3-mile walk to the post office and back. She is getting very excited to start jogging!
We had a great day with V. She took us to the park and made us wonderfully tasty meals. In the afternoon, she helped us make purple and blue feather hats! After dinner we entertained ourselves by constructing with our megablocks.
Mom gave us our baths. We thought it was so cool that you can change the way the water comes out of the shower head. We also thought it was funny to hide in our hanging towels and play peek-a-boo! We practiced some sign language before bedtime with Mom and Dad and then nuggled ourselves to sleep with all of our stuffed friends, little cardboard books and our blue, red and owl lights.
Here's our day:
