Daddy came home! Gugu got to stay another day! We were very excited to see both of them in the morning. Daddy and Gugu took us to the park. Mommy and Gugu took us to an all girls luncheon at a local slider bar when Daddy headed off to work. We munched on fries, mini-burgers and dip.
There were four kinds of fry dip and we sampled all of them many times, even the spicy one with horseradish! We double dipped and then some. We ate more dip than burgers or fries! For dessert we had ice cream cookie sandwiches with multi-colored sprinkles. Let's just say we were in heaven the entire stroller ride home.
It took us 3 hours of giggling, crying and chatting to finally fall asleep during naptime. We ripped two books that were in our room during the pre-nap activities. Mom and Dad were disappointed in us. Sometimes we find it fun to destroy things. Is that wrong?
When we awoke, Auntie Drew had arrived! We all ate gluten-free mushroom risotto, salad with scrumptious avocado and broccoli for dinner with our two aunties and mom and dad. For dessert, we had red bean mochi! Double yum!
Daddy gave us our bath and we read our books with everyone in our room. After the required round of Ring Around the Rosie we settled into our soft sleeping bags from Mema. We said our goodbyes to Gugu one last time and requested to be zippered up into our sleeping bags.
