Monday was a good time. We wore new dresses that Auntie Heather sent us from her stylish girls. Twinks was so excited to find a new blue dress in the delivery! Auntie Drew made a peach cobbler! Yum. V played with us all day, took us to the park and made us smoothie's in M's big girl cups.
We got some bed risers in the mail that Aunt Lin suggested could help us easily lift the queen bed in the family room and slide another bed under it. We thought the bed risers made great towers and added them to our collection of building block kit-of-parts!
Dad went for a nice, long run to campus and spent the whole day visiting Mommy. Dad and Mom just chatted and took a nap together. Auntie T stooped by to say hello and bring treats from Mom's favorite bakery.
Mom's platelets are 11 and will likely drop below transfusion level as expected tomorrow. Her hemoglobin is still low normal and her peripheral WBCs are dropping still. Mom napped most of the day and enjoyed a very nausea-free day. Today was the last day of chemo. Now Mom will start neupogen shots tomorrow until her counts (crossing fingers) recover.
In her hospital downtime, Mom is on a mission to fix our puff balls of our winter hats. We'll shall see if she is successful at securing our yarn balls from our persistent and curious fingers.
Here's our day:

I love those pictures of each girl with their dinner plate -- they both look so cute and I can't believe how big they're getting!!
