Day 959 (Y2D229) +141 BMT

Our day was swell.  Daddy woke us up and we woke up aunt Lindsey.  We did our typical thing in the morning but this time we helped daddy put away silverware and laundry.  We got so excited by that we took our hampers and started putting all of our stuff  (blocks, blankets, books, stuffed animals) in them.  I guess uncle Peiffer is right about kids not really liking toys but just wanting to do stuff.

V took such good care of us and we made some new friends at the park.  We had such a great day.  We also appeared to be gaining weight when we stepped on the scale (Dinks was over 26 and Twinks was around 33).

We were excited because Aunt Jessie came back to visit.  We didn't see her yet today but we know we will tomorrow!

Daddy put us to bed and read our current favorite books to us... from our crib.  We gave V some good hugs, did our "mommy daddy" and "cookie" dances and really wished to see mommy.  Thankfully through the magic of video streaming via broadband, we were able to facetime with mommy.  It was a perfect way to end the day.

Mommy was doing ok today.  There are lots of scary diagnoses being thrown around but mommy has learned to take things in stride.  Mostly she was trying to relax before any information about the bone marrow biopsy returned.  She had to go get an echo and had her eyes dilated by the ophthamologist.  Her appetite is improving and slowly and hopefully her swelling will start to come down.  She had to receive a transfusion of platelets so mommy wants to thank the anonymous donor who provided the live saving cells to help her.  Mommy was excited to be able to spend the day with the lovely ladies of her life.  Mommy worked out like a champ - went on nearly half a dozen walks, did PT and hit the bike strongly.  Our mommy is our hero!
