Day 960 (Y2D230) +142 BMT

First off, news of the day!  Mommy's bone marrow biopsy came back "hypocellular" which essentially says that there does not appear to be cancer in her bone marrow!  HOORAY!  We are very excited.  Daddy, Mema, Aunt Linny and Aunt Jessie were all so excited.  I think Mommy was excited too.  This is a huge step in the right direction, and we were excited that we actually caught a break.  And I guess when it rains it pours; mommy's echo showed a recovery in her ejection fraction, no yeast in the heart valves, and her metabolic function is starting to recover.  This is all good.  We understand that this is just a first step and there are a lot of things still to consider including her swelling, metabolic functions, possible relapse and the need for a DLI and infections, but we are enjoying the moment.

We first found out about it when Dr. Jackie came by and told us that her experiment was a complete failure, but that she was excited because likely that meant she was clear of the cancer.  Dr. Hsu subsequently came by to share the news with mommy.  He was practically giddy and looked bummed when mommy was sleeping.  Mema would have none of it and told mommy to wake up!  It was such great news and all of F ground was throwing high fives from the nurses, to the custodians to the heme team.  We guess everyone loves mommy.  This is a day to celebrate.

Mommy also went on a lot of walks and did some PT with daddy.  Also we were lucky because Aunt Mina came by to say hi to mommy even though mommy was practically out the whole time.  The end of the day was great because mommy got to celebrate with a little sprite and some take out from SuHong that daddy took to her.

So besides that we also had a pretty good day.  Aunt Lindsey woke us up and took care of us all morning.  We thought she might miss KiKi so we gave her an extra hard time so she would miss our cousin even more.  We read in our tents and had lots of fun.  V took care of us as she always does and let us get some buckets.  We gave daddy a bit of a fuss at bedtime, reading books and books and books and books and climbing into our super crib.  Today was perfect!

Happy birthday to V's daddy and mema!  And happy anniversary to Max's parents yesterday!
