Day 962 (Y2D232) +144 BMT

We had a long day today... whew!  Happy Daylight Savings everyone!  We still got up extra early but it was "tolerable" because of spring forward.  We were sad to see Aunt Jessie go.  She is amazing.

We woke up with daddy and we immediately wanted to go play with our strollers again.  It was pretty cool for daddy because he could just sit and keep an eye on it while we took care of our stuffed animals.  We fed them bunny snacks, changed their diapers and took them to the park.  We also kicked the ball around.  Eventually daddy took us to the real park where we swung and rode down the slides.  It was about lunch time, though it felt really early, so daddy took us back to the oasis where we had salad, chicken strips and french fries and a little special drink.  We couldn't believe how much we ate; we absolutely love the food there.  Daddy says that the place has many memories for him and is always fun.  After that daddy took us to go get ice cream cookies, but this time he got cookies with M&Ms in them!  Delish!  We took our sweet time getting the ice cream cookies down so daddy took us to the grey slide park for park #2!  We rode down the grey slide, swung and ran around on the grass.  What a day... daddy looked exhausted.  After that it was home for a nap.

When we woke up daddy immediately got us dressed to go see mommy.  We miss mommy and were very excited to see her.  We were also excited for any treats that she might share with us.  We got there but mommy was feeling very tired and so we only spent a little time with her, about two minutes before she had to go back.  We weren't ready to go back to bed so daddy let us watch the fountain and eat snacks.  We met one of mommy's nurses we shares a name with Twinks!

It was then home for a dinner of maultaschen, which we are loving right now (Thanks Auntie Sigi!) and desert of Aunt Torrey's pudding (with sprinkles!, thanks! AT).  Wow let's see - triple cereal, snacks, chicken strips and fries (& caesar salad - daddy's comment, since he doesn't want to look like such a bad dad), ice cream cookie, more snacks, maultaschen and pudding.  Yup that's a balanced meal, way to go daddy!  Well with all that, dinks decided that she would use the potty for some BM action!  Good job Dinks!

Bath time and bedtime just brought us quick zzzzzzzzz's....

Mommy wasn't feeling the greatest.  She's feeling very uncomfortable with the edema.  She also got a visit from BMT, who while happy for the clear biopsy, was not optimistic about staying relapse free for an extended period of time.  He laid out some options which include some clinical trials here and in NYC.  Daddy and mommy may be heading out  to the east coast shortly for a medium extended period of time.  I guess we'll see what our next steps are.  The most important thing is for mommy to recover - we hope that she continues to recover in her gut, her bone marrow, her heart and her kidneys.  We love you mommy!

Here is our day:
