Day 976 (Y2D246) +158 BMT

Dear mommy,

We were so excited to see you today!  And of course enjoy our delicious grilled cheese and fries that mema got from the hospital.  And we scored some toothbrushes!  We were sad to see Aunt Jessie and Uncle Dave leave.  Everyone seemed sad.  But we know that cousin bumpy and cousin max need their parents too.  Aunt Lin took such good care of us this morning, assisted by her wonderful friend aunt amy.  We went to see you, where we gave you our pom pom hats to keep you warm.  You know we'd rather just chew up the pom poms but we thought they looked much better on you.

Daddy came home to put us to bed.  We had a great time seeing auntie deanne and uncle tom, buo buo and aunt loni and nai nai.  What a plentiful day.  Someone brought us almond rocas and delicious middle eastern food from the anatolian kitchen (thank you Gronbergs!)... we will definitely be hitting those so thank you whoever you are!  We also love the cheesecake made of quark (thank you Auntie MF!) that would make Auntie Sigi proud.

Mommy you are getting weaker physically, but we realize how strong you are in spirit.  Not only do we realize that you are pushing to stay so that you can watch over us, we have been realizing how much you've affected so many people.  The voices of support and the stories about you are amazing. We love hearing the stories and hope they keep coming.

For all our friends and loved ones who haven't seen this tear jerker (though it sums up mommy's spirit in 30 seconds), check this out.

We love you mommy!

Here is our day:
